Best yet cordless vac, tops all the DeWalt 18 volt I own. Sucks like a corded unit. I would buy it again.
Granted, if I didn't already have several V28 batteries, this tool would not have been an option. For electricians and plumbers who sometimes work without power, this makes clean-up by either blowing or vacuuming a breeze.
If you already have the V28 batteries for other Milwaukee tools, you will find a use for this vacuum. This quality, powerful, suitcase-style vacuum was designed with the craftsman and home workshop in mind.
It is also great for the commercial handyman who travels to people's homes to do odd jobs and is neat enough in appearance to please the lady who wants the shelves in her bedroom swapped with the shelves in her closet - and a new do-dad added on to where the old do-hickey used to be hanging. It costs less than one V28 battery.
Many work shops have several stations and dragging a hefty shop vac around on rollers through a maze becomes a real pain. The self-contained, box shape with carrying handle makes transportation simple.
However, a man can not have too many tools.
This so-called $101 vacuum doesn't come with a battery or a charger. Absolutely. Need to use it longer to see if the battery will hold a charge or die an early death. So that boosted the price well over $200. Unfortunately, I got caught in the cycle of buying more things because the cost of returning everything was too high. Then when it arrived, there was no wand. Glad I saw the small print, or I wouldn't know I needed to buy them as well. Worth the money.
Guess what.over $70 for the wand (not available at Amazon.have to go elsewhere).or.buy the wet/dry cleaning kit for $223. Misleading. All in all, if I wanted to spend over $400, I could've bought a Dyson. Beware.
I was excited to make this purchase and am glad I did. I use the blowing feature for cleaning out computers and filters. This is so handy and I find myself reaching for it all the time because it is so quick. One of the best things I found out about this unit, is that you can put the hose into two ports, one for suction and another for blowing. Works great. Absolutely love it.
